Our History

A Quiet Commitment to New Hampshire

Since our founding, the Council has served as a bridge between individuals, families, and the resources they need. We were established with a clear purpose: to provide New Hampshire with a trusted, nonpartisan voice on responsible gaming one that prioritizes people over politics.

Our work began in response to the evolving gaming landscape in the state. As new opportunities emerged, so did the need for thoughtful education, accessible support, and evidence-based advocacy. We stepped into that space not to judge, but to help.

Today, we partner with communities, educators, healthcare providers, and policymakers to ensure that responsible gaming remains a central part of the conversation not as an afterthought, but as a foundation.

Creating Awareness

NHCRG works to minimize the economic and social costs associated with gambling addiction. Through education, prevention, collaboration, and advocacy, we promote responsible gaming practices that protect players, support those affected by problem gambling, and foster a sustainable gaming environment.
