Peggy Gilmour
Peggy is a community and legislative leader who influences policy
through relationship building and bipartisan advocacy. She is a formerly elected State Senator in the New Hampshire legislature. During her tenure, she was a member of several influential Senate committees including Health and Human Services, Ways and Means, Transportation, Education and Fish and Game. Known to be a highly-effective and collaborative legislator, Peggy is responsible for numerous bipartisan bills related to health, education and transportation.
Peggy is a Registered nurse with a long career in Community Health, Palliative and End of Life Care, Health Care Administration and Health Care Policy. She is the former President and CEO of Home Health and Hospice Care, a large Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice in Nashua and Merrimack, NH. She holds BS and MS degrees from Boston University.
In recent years, Peggy has continued to be an active and well-regarded leader in many different communities and associations throughout New Hampshire. She’s on the Board of Directors for several local and state organizations, serves on the Advisory Board for Nashua Community College, the Board of Friends of NH Drug Courts, The Greater Nashua United Way Advisory Board, a member of the Advocacy Committee for the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, and several other community-based organizations.
Peggy’s longstanding commitments to the state of New Hampshire through legislative influence as well as her active community involvement make her a well-known and well-respected figure who understands the value of aligning community relations with public and government affairs.
